Sonny Bill Williams - Man of our Times
Sonny Bill Williams - is a real man of our times.
I don't think he is one for tradition - i.e. the grand history of the All Blacks etc... unless there is money/sponsorship opportunities resulting. But I do not mean to be harsh by that - as independence and independent thinking is what makes Sonny Bill interesting.
With only a passing interest in tradition - he is his own man - a man who believes that god is within - and he must do his best for this self contained entity.
In corporate terms - he would be - the wonder kid - a star contractor commanding top $$$.
An interesting maverick - with a large ego.
In some ways - something that the All Blacks need... and ego that will stay large and intact - when the All Blacks hit the certain wall (ok yes - the French) - in the Rugby World Cup 2011.
Dan Carter - Undies Salesman
Dan Carter is famous in New Zealand for selling undies.
He is also an All Black - a key one at that.
Mainly because girls like to see him kick the ball.. well not the kicking but - the bit where he looks pensively at the post prior to the kick.
New Zealand girls - would be happy if Carter took the entire game to line up a kick - because he is hot.

Official Drink of the Rugby World Cup - Kiwi Cola
dun dun dun....
Actually no - it is Coke. However, I make the Kiwi Cola and though it would have been perfect for visitors to the Cup - something that contains New Zealand Native Kawakawa.
The thing is - sooo much tax payers $$$ has been thrown at the World Cup - you would have thought the locals - like me would have had a crack at selling and showcasing their products - in the hope of targeting larger markets.
No doubt - I will not be able to sell Kiwi Cola - anywhere near any of the events or parties.... I will be banished to the local markets - to sell my gourmet sparkling cola product surrounded by Leeks and baby carrots.
